So yeah, I've been largely silent this past few weeks. Honestly? I haven't had much to say in terms of content, so I figured why fake the funk.
The only resolutions I'm making is to try to get into better shape (standard resolution every year), face the wind no matter how hard it blows, and to use the good dishes more often...because, really...what am I saving them for? (Thanks Hopper!)
2008 was a strange and wonderful year. I'm looking for 2009 to build upon that. Other than that...that's pretty much it.
To make up for my lack of creativity I've decided to take a walk down memory lane, because nothing says "New Year" like looking back at the past. So without further ado, I give you Tom and Jerry and the (Uncle) Pecos Pest episode.
That oughta put a smile on your face.

Actually!
I appreciate that. Updates and comments and such are good, but I like them better when people really have something to say. Far too often, people talk for the sake of hearing their own voice, and not so much for the content of what they have to say.
So when there's substance to what's being said, whatever the case may be, it brings a lot more excitement to hearing what's being said!
Cheers!

PS- I will say though, I'm glad you're still in LJ land, I was wondering about that!
Happy New Year to ya!
Yeah, I've never been a fan of the "everything I did today right down to picking my nose and waving to the mailman" post.
I promise, I'll try to keep it interesting when I do get motivated to post something new. =)
=)
And YES! That has to be the funniest episode of Tom and Jerry ever. I defy anyone to find a funnier one than the Uncle Pecos episode.
And... I have this one person on my friends list from when we were in a comm together years ago that I don't have anything to say to anymore. I guess she'd be terribly annoying if her daily updates about how VERY IMPORTANT her every move is weren't so funny to me. Today's entry is a whole paragraph lead up to her getting the flu and beyond. I thought because of the cut text something HORRIBLY BAD had happened. Just thought I'd let you know that ;)
Yeah, so clearly you KNOW the type of posts (and posters) I try to avoid!
But girl, WE MADE IT!
2008...ADIOS!
=)
While picturing this scene, it is much funnier to picture them wearing bow ties and hats with old fashioned handkerchiefs in their pockets, lol.
